Philanthropy

'Shodhaka' has been socially responsible from the beginning, within its humble limits, rather than waiting for the days of profit-making. We have supported and encouraged young researchers and students. For example, we have consistently given discounts in training fees, conducted free career planning workshops and counseling sessions for students. We also try to create health awareness in public. Many members of the Shodhaka team have volunteered to contribute to these events.

Shodhaka also engages in non-commercial and basic research activities, including research that can eventually help applied research on multiple cancer types.

We have been putting substantial efforts from the beginning to develop a public online portal to facilitate informed selection of biological databases and tools, by biological researchers (see startbioinfo.com).
